The author has a good understanding of what fatigue is and how it can affect people. Fatigue is not always easy to define as it can present itself in different ways and have different effects on people. She has had some personal experience and I think it shows. Yet, this book is not just based on personal research but is well researched. Sufferers can have their lives torn apart with work, relationships and their enjoyment of life being affected.

It also looks at how diet and different food can affect how a person feels. Changing what we eat can have an amazing effect on how we feel and how high our energy levels are.

Each topic offers concrete and usable practices in a simple and helpful way.
There is also important discussion about the role that our emotional and spiritual lives play in the equation. I really liked the fact the author developed these themes. There is a strong Christian flavor to the overall text but it would not detract from any person benefiting from the information. The book ends with a nice summation of the information and some additional reference material for those wanting to dig deeper. I quite enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it.
This was really helpful for me, as I sometimes deal with fatigue, even after a good amount of sleep. While reading, I realized that a lot of what I eat could play a negative role in my sleeping habits, so I'm going to try a few of the tips and tricks explained throughout. I also shared a lot of it with my boyfriend, who has issues staying asleep through the night; hopefully we'll start sleeping better very soon!
Know that there is hope for crushing fatigue. I understand because I have been there. I used to have to “ration” my energy.
